Basic Operation of ECDIS

ECDIS User Guide

Returning to Standby Mode

To return to Standby mode left click on the Standby/Transmit button, or
click on the

Standby

radio button in the Transceiver window. An

Action

Required

popup window appears prompting to confirm the switch to

Standby. To confirm click the

OK

button, or to return to Transmit mode click

the

Cancel

button.

When the Transceiver is switched to Standby any active Radar
Video is automatically switched off. In a multi node system this
applies to all nodes if a Master Display switches to Standby.
