12.9 FID Startup

Connect all gases to the analyser and make sure that the system is fully purged.

Power up the analyser

Set the flow set points to the following values for purging:

Wait for FID temperature stabilisation. Once temperature is stable, set flow
set points to the following values:

Once flows are stable, press the ignite button to start the detector. The flow
set point will automatically change to ignition set point and the detector will
ignite.
