General Characteristics
The MiniCapt Mobile Microbial Air Sampler makes it possible to pre-set sampling
programs that can be activated from the touchscreen or via Modbus.
The data saved from previous samplings are stored in memory, which can then:
•
be downloaded via the USB connection
•
transferred to a software package via Modbus TCP
•
printed using the USB connect for a printer
When there is not enough system memory to store data from a new sampling session,
the oldest sample record is deleted and automatically overwritten.
Fluid-Dynamic System Characteristics
The MiniCapt Mobile uses a rotary blower that is able to sample a constant flow of
25, 50 or 100 LPM and is controlled by a volumetric flow controller.
Warning and Alarm Systems
The MiniCapt Mobile has operating alarms that automatically manage anomalous
events:
•
that do not compromise the sampling (warnings)
•
that could compromise the sampling accuracy (alarms)
Both alarms and warnings are signaled if the event takes place for more than 10
seconds. Alarms and warnings are stored in memory by the system.
See
Flowrate Monitoring Warning
The system checks to see if the difference between the working flow and the ideal flow
(25 LPM, 50 LPM or 100 LPM) is within a 5% tolerance. If not, the unit will provide a
visual warning and an audio warning, and will record the event. If the unit recovers, the
audio and visual warning is removed but is still recorded.
