Select
Static
as
the
addressing
method
and
enter
the
following
information:
IP Address
—Enter
a
valid
IPv4
address.
Netmask
—Enter
the
subnet
mask.
The
Default Gateway
and
MTU
fields
cannot
be
edited.
These
fields
are
automatically
configured
using
the
Default Gateway
and
MTU
values
from
the
private
connections
you
configured
on
the
primary
master
node.
4.
Enter
a
value
for
the
VHID
(Virtual
Host
ID).
The
VHID
allows
the
HotPair
array
to
direct
data
traffic
to
the
active
master
node,
while
maintaining
a
single
public
connection
for
the
entire
array.
5.
Click
Save
.
Configure the Public Verde Management Port
1.
From
the
menu
bar,
select
Configuration > Network
,
or
click
the
Network
pane
on
the
Dashboard
screen.
The
Network
screen
displays.
2.
In
the
Network
Interfaces
pane,
select
the
Public
Management
row,
and
then
select
Action > Edit
.
The
Edit
Public
Management
dialog
box
displays.
