3.  Setting up HyperTerminal

 

 

 

HyperTerminal is a terminal emulation program and a reduced capability version is included with all 
versions of Windows. This version is suitable for all the setup and configuration procedures described in 
this document. 

 

Creating a HyperTerminal connection

 

 

1.

 

Start the HyperTerminal program by selecting, Start + Programs ’ Accessories ’ Communications 
’ HyperTerminal 

 

If starting HyperTerminal for the first time, it will ask you to create a new connection. Name the 
connection using a relevant name. Then click OK.
