Field Current Drain Test
Always use a new 9-volt alkaline or lithium battery to conduct the
field current drain test. If a transmitter fails the test, retry the test
with another new battery.
Note:
To ensure accurate test results, these test procedures must only
be performed using fresh, new batteries at room temperature.
Partially used batteries, or batteries outside room temperature
conditions, will affect the current drain readings.
