Assembling the Receiver Module

Connect the RF and digital PCBAs together by aligning the pins
of connector JP4 on the RF PCBA with the sockets of connector
J2 on the digital PCBA. Carefully press the two PCBAs together.

Install the screws (1/4 inch long) in the four corners of the digital
PCBA to hold the digital and RF PCBAs together (refer to
).

Install the antenna PCBA by aligning the pins on the antenna
PCBA with the sockets on the filters and carefully inserting the
PCBA. Install the three socket head screws to hold the PCBA to
the filter assembly (refer to
).

Install the back panel and power supply PCBA (refer to
). The power supply PCBA is held in the back panel by a plastic
locking tab. To install the PCBA, push the locking tab to the side
and slide the PCBA into the holders. Plug the back panel power
supply PCBA (connector P1) into connector J2 on the CPU PCBA.
Carefully align the pins. Install and tighten the two Phillips screws
on the back panel next to the 15-pin SDLC connector.

Assemble the CPU, power supply and digital/RF sections by
plugging in the power supply PCBA connector P2 and P3 to the
digital/RF PCBA’s connector J1 and JP3. Install the long screw
removed in

Install the face plate by positioning the face plate over the
antenna PCBA and installing the four screws (
).

Install the outside module covers using the two screws (refer to
Disassembling/Assembling the Module Housing
These procedures explain disassembly of the 90479-A/B/C receiver
housing to replace the battery, amplifier PCBA, and power supply.
Procedures for disassembling the mechanical assemblies and chassis
assemblies are not provided (refer to Drawing 10).
Battery Replacement
