9.5) INSERTING TURBULATORS
1. Assemble the turbulators together by interlocking the slotted end portions. Slide these into the last tube
section until they are flush with the tube end. Note: Refer to the table below for quantities of turbulators
required for each heater model.

9.6) ADDING BODY REFLECTORS
2. Slide the reflectors through the wire hangers.
3. The tube at the coupling joints must be covered. Slide the reflectors together and provide an overlap of two
(2”) inches for each reflector overlap.
4. Place a reflector retainer at the burner end and after each reflector overlap. Secure the retainers to the tube
using a spring provided with the heater as shown in Det
ail “A”. Note: The first reflector overlap must be able
to slide for natural expansion and contraction of the heater when in operation. See Detail “B” for reta iner
location. The heaters can expand and contract up to 1- 3/4”.
5. Secure the reflectors as shown in Det ail “A” using #10 x 1/2” self -drilling sheet metal screws at the bottom of
each reflector retainer.
6. Lock the reflectors in place as shown in Detail “ A ” using the #10 x 1/2 ” self-drilling sheet metal screws
through the sides of each reflector retainer.
7. Secure the reflectors at the overlaps shown in Detail “ C ” by sliding speed clips onto the reflector edges.
8. Lock the first wire hanger as shown in Detail “ D ” by using a reflector/hanger retainer on each side and
securing with (2) #10 x ½” self-drilling sheet metal screws. Insert the screws from the inside of the reflector.
