Additional Options
VirTis AdVantage Pro lyophilizers offer a variety of optional components to match an
assortment of product or process applications.
Bulk 316 Stainless Steel Trays
Bulk 316 stainless steel trays are available as an option for AdVantage Pro units that
feature a shelf system designed for bulk tray processing.
The configuration of these trays are (W x D x H):
10 x 14 x 1.5 in (254 x 355.6 x 31.8 mm).

Removable Bottom Stainless Steel Trays
Removable bottom 316 stainless steel trays are available for AdVantage Pro units
with the stoppering option. These trays are available in three (3) configurations that
vary based on the height of the vials that are being used.
The configuration of these trays are (W x D x H):
Vials ≤ 1 in (25.4 mm).
10 x 14 x .75 in (254 x 355.6 x 19.1 mm).

Vials 1 - 1.5 in (25.4 - 38.1 mm).
10 x 14 x 1 in (254 x 355.6 x 25.4 mm)

Vials ≥ 1.5 in (38.1 mm).
10 x 14 x 1.5 in (254 x 355.6 x 38.1 mm).

Stoppering Rod Extension
For AdVantage Pro units with the stoppering option, stoppering rod extensions are
available. Stoppering rod extensions allow for stoppering when using low profile trays.
These rod extensions add 1.5 inches (38.1 mm) to the stoppering rod.
Vacuum Break Solenoid (VBS) Valve
The AdVantage Pro may be equipped with an optional Vacuum Break Solenoid (VBS)
valve. If purchased, the VBS valve shall be installed between the vacuum system and
the condenser to prevent possible backflow into the condenser when the pump is
de-energized.
