at the factory before your machine was shipped:

Be aware that machine components can shift
during the shipping process. Pay careful
attention to these adjustments as you test run
your machine. If you find that the adjustments
are not set according to the procedures in this
manual or your personal preferences, re-adjust
them.
After approximately 16 hours of operation,
V-belts will stretch and seat into pulley
grooves and need to be properly tensioned to
ensure good power transfer from motor and
avoid severely reducing life of V-belts. Refer to
Tensioning/Replacing V-Belts on Page 44 for
detailed instructions.
