INSTALLATION

3.1 Installing the Control Unit (UG)

Do not install the Control Unit (UG) in front of a hedge or in a shaded area to
avoid masking the solar panel.

Install the Control Unit (UG) at the top of the fence.

1. Open the cover of the Control Unit (UG) and unscrew the mounting hooks using a #8 tubular

box wrench or a #8 pipe wrench.

It is possible to move the control Unit (UG) to the

next piece of fence, if close to a hedge

Extend the cables with standard cable

4x0.6m² / 4x20AWG (50 m / 164 ft max per cable)

Add UR at each extension cable and if the cable is

longer than 3m / 10 ft
