Picture Freeze Function
The Picture Freeze function allows you to
temporarily freeze and review the picture on the
screen. This is useful to check and make a note of
information displayed on the screen, such as a
mail address or a recipe.
To use the Picture Freeze function
When the picture you want to freeze appears on
the screen, press
on the remote control. Press
again to cancel the Picture Freeze function and
return to the normal TV picture.
Notes
• If you change the input source or the channel, the
Picture Freeze function is cancelled.
• When the Picture Freeze function is on, the picture
remains still on the screen but the sound continues to
play.
• When the Picture Freeze function is on, the MENU,
(Wide mode),
(Picture mode),
/
(Teletext),
and
(NexTView) buttons do not work.
• The Picture Freeze function is cancelled after 5 minutes
to prevent image retention.
• The Picture Freeze function is cancelled when
(picture off) button is pressed during Picture Freeze.
Teletext
Teletext is an information service transmitted by
most TV stations. The index page of the Teletext
service (usually page 100) gives you information
on how to use the service. To operate Teletext, use
the remote control buttons as indicated below.
Note
• Make sure you use a channel (TV Broadcast) with a
strong signal, otherwise Teletext errors may occur.
To switch on Teletext
After selecting the TV channel which carries the
Teletext service you want to view, press
