Setting up a Google account

Set up a Google account to use services provided by Google. Multiple accounts can be registered on your Walkman.
You can obtain a Google account for free. Having a Google account allows you to enjoy services as shown below.

Installing applications from the Google Play store, etc.
Using applications such as e-mail and calendar.
Using services provided by Google on other devices besides your Walkman

Note

Make sure your Walkman is connected to the Internet through a Wi-Fi connection when setting up or logging in to
your Google account.
You can also use your Walkman without setting up a Google account; however, in this case, services provided by
Google are not available.

1.  In the Home screen, tap   -   [Settings] - [  Add account] - [  Google].

2.  Follow the on-screen instructions to set up an account.
