Removing and Installing a Memory Module

If you remove the top panel immediately after you shut down the computer, the internal components may be too hot to touch. Wait about one hour to
let the components cool down before you attempt to remove the panel.
To change or add a memory module

Shut down the computer and turn off all peripheral devices, such as a printer.

Unplug the computer and disconnect any peripheral devices.
