To restore your entire computer system

Follow these steps to restore the entire data on your hard disk to the original 
factory condition:

Launch 

VAIO Recovery Center

 (see page 12).

Select 

Restore Complete System

 and click 

Start

.

Read the information about software or features to resolve the 
problems, select 

Skip

 if you have already tried all of them, and click 

Next

.

Select 

Skip

 and click 

Next 

if you have created the recovery discs. 

 

If you have not, create recovery discs (see page 14).

 

If the 

User Account Control

 window appears, click 

Continue

.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

After completing the recovery process, restore your data from the backup 
copy you have made. To restore the data from the backup copy, see 
“Backing up and restoring your data using Backup and Restore Center” on 
page 16.
