Remove the memory module:
Carefully pull the release tabs (1) on both ends of the memory module at the same time in the
direction of the arrow.
Pull out the memory module in the direction of the arrow (2).
Adding a memory module
If you are not familiar with upgrading memory on a notebook, we highly recommend you to contact your
dealer.
To add a memory module, proceed as follows:

Shut down your computer and disconnect all peripheral devices.

Unplug the computer and remove the battery pack.

Wait until the computer cools down.
The inside of a notebook becomes extremely hot during operation. Wait for about one hour for the
computer to cool down before you remove the screws.

Push the LCD screen away from you until it is completely flat.

Remove the thin plastic strip containing the Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll Lock indicators by sliding it
toward the keyboard and pulling it up gently.

Unscrew the two screws underneath the plastic strip (turn counterclockwise).

Lift the speaker cover toward the LCD screen.
