If necessary, press
<Fn>+<F5>
to adjust the brightness controls for the LCD display. To increase the
brightness, use the up or right arrow keys. To decrease, use the down or left arrow keys.
If you press the power button for more than four seconds, the computer will turn off.

Keep magnetic objects away from your notebook. If they are close to your touchpad, your computer enters in LCD/Video Standby or Hibernate mode
assuming that the LCD display is closed.
Carrying your notebook
If you are going to carry your notebook by the handle, make sure to:
remove all cables,
lock the LCD panel by sliding the LCD lock lever,
carry it carefully.
Shutting down your notebook
It is important that you shut down your computer properly in order not to lose unsaved data.
To shut down your computer, proceed as follows:

Click the
Start
button on the Windows
®
taskbar.

Click
Shut Down.
The
Shut Down Windows
dialog box appears.

Select
Shut down
.

Click
OK
.

Wait for your computer to turn off automatically.
The power indicator turns off.

Turn off any peripheral connected to your computer.
