Downloading Software Components 

There are two software components of SecureData that you will need to complete the 
XDP installation. First get a userID from Voltage and then go to their downloads 
website at•

  The first component to download is the SecureData Host SDK which resides at the 

following location on the Voltage downloads website: 

HPE SecureData Payments\ HPE SecureData Host SDK\ v4.1.5 (Host SDK HP 
NonStop) 

Download 

SD_HostSDK_HPNSG_x86_4.1.5.zip

 for X86-based systems or 

SD_HostSDK_HPNSG_Itanium_4.1.5.zip

 for Itanium-based systems. This SDK 

installs in the Guardian environment. 

•

  The second component to download is the SecureData Simple API which resides 

at the following location on the Voltage downloads website: 

HPE SecureData Enterprise Clients\ HPE SecureData SimpleAPI\ HPE Nonstop 
(API)\ v4.3 (API HP Nonstop) 

Download 

voltage-simple-api-c-4.3.0-NonStop-OSS-NSX-D-32b-r185596.sh.gz

 

for X86-based systems or 

voltage-simple-api-c-4.3.0-NonStop-OSS-NSE-A-32b-

 for Itanium-based systems. This API installs in the OSS 

environment. We suggest installing the API to the 

/usr/local/voltage

 directory. 

Please note your install volume and subvolume for the Voltage host SDK and the OSS 
path location for the SecureData Simple API before installing XDP. You will have to 
enter both of these locations during the XDP installation process.

Installing XDP Using the Host INSTALL Macro 

XDP is an abbreviated way of referring to the XYGATEDP software. 

If you are installing XDP from a CD or DVD, the setup program will place the files on 
the host in a distributed subvolume (DSV) location whose default value is 
$SYSTEM.ZXYPRODP. 

Running the INSTALL macro as described in this section is based on the following 
three assumptions: 

  XDP will be administered by the Security Administrator whose userid is 

SECURITY.ADMIN. 

  $SYSTEM.XYGATEDP is where the XDP software will be installed.
