You can set the unit to data transfer mode in “INGEST” of the SYSTEM Setup menu.
An SRExpress mode and an SDI INGEST mode are available for the data transfer mode.
Use SRExpress mode when you want to connect to an AJA Video Systems Io XT, KONA 3G, or other
device that is equipped with a 3G-SDI interface and perform high-speed transfer of file data.
A 60-minute SR-Lite file can be transferred as an MXF file in 15 minutes or less.
Supported devices for SRExpress mode
SRExpress mode supports the following devices.
• AJA Video Systems Io XT
• AJA Video Systems KONA 3G
To enable SRExpress mode
1
Display the SYSTEM Setup menu and
then (1) select and confirm “INGEST”
t
(2) set “SRExpress” to “ON” and
confirm
t
(3) select and confirm
“SET.”
The system reboots automatically, and starts
in SRExpress mode.
During SRExpress mode
• This unit is controlled remotely via RS-422
interface. Recording and playback operations
cannot be performed from the control panel.
• “SRExpress mode” appears in the HOME
screen, and information such as the time code
and audio level is not displayed.
