Clearing the Undo/Redo History for the current file
Clearing the current file’s Undo/Redo History frees up disk space by deleting the file’s temporary undo/redo files. However, deleting
these temporary files prevents you from undoing changes made to the file since it was last saved (or beyond, if you have the
Allow
Undo past Save
check box enabled on the
General
tab of the Preferences dialog). To clear the undo/redo history for the current file, go
to the
Edit
menu and choose
Clear Undo/Redo History
.
Note:
A file’s undo/redo history is also automatically cleared when you close the file or exit the software.
