HDMI 1:
Outputs the video signal to the
external equipment connected to the
HDMI-1 OUT connector.
DVI-I OUT:
Outputs the video signal to the
external equipment connected to the
DVI-I OUT connector.
HDMI 1 + DVI-I OUT:
Outputs the video
signal to the external equipment
connected to the HDMI-1 OUT and
DVI-I OUT connectors.
HDMI 1 + HDMI 2:
Outputs the video
signal to the external equipment
connected to the HDMI-1 OUT and
HDMI-2 OUT connectors.
Triple monitors:
Outputs the video signal
to the external equipment connected to
the HDMI-1 OUT and DVI-I OUT
connectors, and the external equipment
connected to the HDMI-2 OUT
connector.
• Connect a monitor that supports the 1080p
video format to the HDMI-2 OUT connector.
• If “Monitor Output” is set to “HDMI 1 +
DVI-I OUT”, “HDMI 1 + HDMI 2”, or
“Triple monitors” when no HDMI monitor is
connected to the Communication System,
you cannot view the menus.
• The “HDMI 1 + HDMI 2” and “Triple
monitors” settings are not available on the
PCS-XG77/XG77S.
• When you change the setting of “Monitor
Output” to an incorrect setting, no picture is
displayed on the screen. In this case, select
the correct setting for “Monitor Output”
using the

(power) switch on the
Communication System and the buttons on
the Remote Commander.
When the

(power) switch indicator on the
Communication System stays lit, perform
the steps below.

Press the

(power) switch on the
Communication System.

Within five seconds after you pressed the
switch, press the buttons on the Remote
Commander described below depending
on the desired “Monitor Output”.
HDMI 1:
VIDEO INPUT button (once)
then Number button 3 (three times)
DVI-I OUT:
VIDEO INPUT button
(once) then Number button 4 (three
times)
The setting of “Monitor Output” is changed,
and the picture will be displayed on the screen.
DVI-I Monitor Output Format
Allows you to select from the SXGA, XGA,
720p, and 1080p video formats for the DVI-I
OUT connector output.
When “Monitor Output” is set to “HDMI 1 +
HDMI 2,” the “DVI-I Monitor Output Format”
setting determines the video format output for
the monitor connected to the HDMI-2 OUT
connector.
Blanking Period
Allows you to select the blackout period that
occurs temporarily when the input picture is
switched when the monitor is connected to
the HDMI OUT connector.
You can select among from Long, Medium
and Short.
Frequency
Allows you to select the frequency of 50 Hz
or 60 Hz for video input/output.
• “Frequency” is set to “60 Hz” at the factory.
Note that video may not be output or the
menu not displayed on the screen when
“Frequency” is set to “50 Hz” if the
connected equipment does not support the
frequency of 50 Hz.
• You must reboot the system to apply changes
to the “Frequency” setting. Reboot the system
manually. If you change it to an incorrect
setting, no picture is displayed on the screen
after rebooting. In this case, select the correct
setting for “Frequency” using the

(power)
switch on the Communication System and the
buttons on the Remote Commander.
When the
