Displaying CPU information
You can also view the performance level of your notebook.
To do so, you just have to move your cursor over the CPU icon in your system tray.
One of the two following icons will be displayed:
Maximum Performance
: this icon appears when you use your notebook with the AC adapter, then
the CPU operates at high speed.
Battery Optimized Performance
: this icon appears when you use your notebook with a battery, then
the CPU operates at low speed.
Selecting display modes
This notebook uses the ATI video controller. You can select which display is used when the notebook is
connected to an external display. When you connect an external display, you can switch the display between
your notebook's LCD and the external monitor.
Before you can select a display, you need to shut down your notebook, connect the external display (TV,
panel or monitor) to your notebook, and restart.
To select a display, proceed as follows:
