Even if the
Country Selector
is available, use only the following procedure.
To change your country settings, proceed as follows:

Click the
Start
button and open
Control Panel
.
The
Control Panel
window opens.

Click the
Switch to Classic view
option in the
Control Panel
window.

Double-click the
Phone and Modem Options
icon.
The
Phone and Modem Options
dialog box appears.

Double-click the
My Location
option in the
Locations
text box.
The
Edit Location
dialog box appears.

Choose you country from the
Country/Region
drop-down list.

Enter your area code in the
Area Code
text box.

Complete the other settings.

Click the
Apply
button, and then click
OK
.
The
Edit Location
dialog box closes.

In the
Phone and Modem Options
window, click the
Apply
button.

Click the
OK
button.
The
Phone and Modem Options
dialog box closes.

Close the
Control Panel
.
The country settings are defined.

This is the only way to select your modem regional options.

When you have to update the driver, never launch the .exe file, ONLY update the .inf driver.
