5. Tilt the unit perpendicularly (approx. 90 degrees), and check that "RIGHT SIDE DOWN" is displayed.

If "BOTTOM SIDE DOWN" is not displayed in step 2 or if "RIGHT SIDE DOWN" is not displayed in step 5 or if
"ILLEGAL" is not displayed in steps 3 to 4, possible causes are as follows.
• Acceleration sensor (IC202 (SENSOR 2) or IC203 (SENSOR 1): BI-353 board (ODS-D280U)/BF-92 board (ODS-
D280F)) is defective.
6-4-4. LOADER AUTO TEST
This menu is used to check operation of the select loader and carry loader.
Note
• Use a working cartridge to execute this menu.
Do not use an unsupported cartridge.
• Confirm that both the select loader assembly and the carry loader assembly are attached in the unit , and then start
checking. If these assemblies are not attached properly, the disc in the cartridge may be damaged.
• When executing this menu, place the unit in the right position.
- ODS-D280U: horizontal
- ODS-D280F: vertical (right side surface below)
ODS-D280U: Horizontal ODS-D280F: Vertical
If these sensors are checked with the unit placed improperly, the sensor check may fail.
