Select your area by turning the
SEL/PUSH EXEC dial, then press
the dial.

Set [DST SET]/[SUMMERTIME],
[Y] (year), [M] (month), [D] (day),
hour and minute, by turning the
SEL/PUSH EXEC dial, then press
the dial.
The clock starts.
• Set [DST SET]/[SUMMERTIME] to [ON]
to move the time forward 1 hour.
• For midnight, set it to 12:00 AM. For
midday, set it to 12:00 PM.
• You can set any year up to the year 2037.

Tips
• The date and time are automatically recorded on
the selected recording media, and can be
displayed during playback (DATA CODE
button, p. 54).
• Once the clock is set, the clock time is
automatically adjusted with [AUTO CLOCK
ADJ] (p. 80) and [AUTO AREA ADJ] (p. 81)
set to [ON]. The clock may not be adjusted to
the correct time automatically, depending on the
country/region selected for your camcorder. In
this case, set [AUTO CLOCK ADJ] and [AUTO
AREA ADJ] to [OFF].
You can change the on-screen displays to
show messages in a specified language.
Press the MENU button and select
(OTHERS) with the SEL/PUSH EXEC
dial. Select the screen language in
[LANGUAGE] (p. 79).
