Setting the standby mode
You can select the power status of the unit while it
is in standby mode.

Select [Settings] from the Home
menu.

Select [Standby Mode].

Select [Power Save] or [Quick Start-
up].
Power Save
With this setting, the unit
is slow to respond when
you turn on the unit, but
the power consumption
in standby mode is low.
When the unit is turned
off, the unit does not save
any information regarding
the computer track that
was last playing (when
using the Home Network
function) or the Internet
radio station that was
last on (when using the
Internet Radio function).

Quick Start-up With this setting, the unit
is fast to respond when
you turn on the unit, but
the power consumption
in standby mode is high.
When the unit is turned
off, it saves information
regarding the computer
track that was last playing
(when using the Home
Network function) or
the Internet radio station
that was last on (when
using the Internet Radio
function). The unit then
resumes playing the track
or the radio station when
it is next turned on.

To cancel the procedure
Press HOME.
To go back to the previous display
Press BACK.
Note
Even if standby mode is set to “Quick Start-up”,
information about the last track or radio station will not
be saved if the unit is turned off by disconnecting the
power cord from the wall outlet.
