2.7 Risk of explosion / explosive range / explosion protection
ATTENTION!
DO NOT OPEN GASLAB Q2 WHEN
AN EXPLOSIVE ATMOSPHERE IS PRESENT
DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE OPENING
(Please also observe the other sections of chapter 2 and see safety label
on the Q2 at all times

The connection and installation must be made according to the listed electrical wiring diagrams,
connection diagrams and tubing diagrams. Make sure that all the necessary safety
measures
have
been taken before, during and after working on the Q2 or before turning it on.
Do not open the lower compartment of the housing
without the permission of Elster GmbH!
Gas will only escape from the breather if there is a fault. Look for appropriate
measures for the disposal of effluent gas. This can be achieved by a suitable
exhaust tube or appropriate ventilation of the location.
It is forbidden to operate devices with damage, modified housing or
inappropriate connections as the explosion protection is no longer provided.

2.8 Operator liability
The operator is subject to statutory occupational health and safety obligations. In addition to the
safety notes in this operating instructions, current regulations of safety, accident prevention and
environmental protection must be observed for the Q2 area of application. In addition, the operator
is responsible for ensuring the Q2 is always in a technically safe state.
The operator must ensure that the installation and maintenance work
described in this operating instructions are performed properly.
The operator is responsible for ensuring that GasLab Q2 remains in a
technically perfect and safe state during its operating period.
