List of Menus
Notes
1.
When video_system is changed, pict_size
correspondingly switches:
— between 525/“720x480” and 625/“720x576”, or
— between 525/“720x512” and 625/“720x608”.
2.
When “setup-msb lock” is executed, the user interface
showing arguments can be used for “read only” with the
“setup-msb lock” being the only exception. The “proc
analyse” is also inhibited.
3.
Unlike other commands, the “setup sync_phase” and
“setup lip_sync” commands in the setup menu become
effective without requiring the “proc start” to be executed.
4.
In PID settings such as “video_pid”, “mpeg_ch12_pid”,
“mpeg_ch34_pid” and “lpcm-pid”, values 10 to 1f are
sometimes used as special id’s. Using values in the range
of 20 to 1ffe is therefore recommended. Similarly, for
“pri_pid_base”, the range of 20 to 1ff7 is recommended.
5.
The log menu items filter_critical, filter_major,
filter_minor, filter_warning, filter_clear, filter_command,
filter_status, alarm_counts, alarm_list, and level_change
can only be controlled by Telnet/RS-232C.
For details of the log, refer to the Maintenance Manual
(supplied separately).
6.
For details of the codefile format, refer to the
Maintenance Manual (supplied separately).
Example return messages

• proc start
“OK” or Command list if NG
• proc analyse
“OK” or Command list if NG
• setup init
“Initialized”
• setup cancel
“canceled”
• setup-msb mac_addr
##:##:##:##:##:##
• setup-msb ping
“{IP address} is alive” or “no answer from {IP
address}”
• setup-msb date
mm dd HH:MM:SS yyyy
yymmddHHMMSS (for front panel)
• setup-msb serial_no
#####
• maintenance version
Version and serial number of the unit
• maintenance reset
“OK”
• maintenance init
“Initialized”
Example error messages
Generally when a type error or the like is detected, the
error message “command not found” is returned.
• General commands of “setup” and “setup-msb”
classes;
“ERROR. Please do “init””: Resume data is
erroneous.
“ERROR”: Resume data is erroneous. (message for
the front panel)
“invalid parameter”: Un-covered argument
“out of range min=###” or “out of range max=###”:
Argument value is smaller than allowable.
“out of range”: Argument value is smaller than
allowable. (message for the front panel)
• maintenance reset, mode
“system is not ready”: The system under the network
host is not ready or has some troubles.
“not ready”: The system under the network host is not
ready or has some troubles. (message for the front
panel)
Consistency of setting values.
When “proc start” is executed, setting consistency is
checked and then the setup values are reflected in
operation.
When “proc analyse” is executed, setting consistence
is checked without having the setup values stored to
memory.
For the consistency check, the following requirements
are checked in the numbered order.
1. chroma vs. encmode
The consistency between 4:2:0 and IMX.
• “video_encmode IMX is not allowed for 4:2:0”
• “video_encmode NG” (message for the front
panel)
2. encmode vs. video_rate (4:2:2 only)
Video bit rate consistency
IMX allows 30Mbps as the lowest bit rate.
• “video_rate lower limit is 30Mbps”
• “video_rate
≥
30” (message for the front panel)
For other than the IMX, the highest video bit rate is
30Mbps.
• “video_rate upper limit is 30Mbps”
• “video_rate
≤
30” (message for front panel)
