You can listen to a radio station either by
selecting a preset station, or by manually tuning
in the station.
Listening to a preset station
— Preset Tuning
Before tuning to preset stations, be sure to preset
them first (see “Presetting radio stations” on
page 43).

Press FU/– repeatedly until
“TUNER” appears in the display (or
press TUNER/BAND on the unit).

Press BAND (or TUNER/BAND on the
unit) repeatedly to select “FM” or
“AM”.

Press TUNING MODE repeatedly until
“PRESET” lights up in the display.

Listening to non-preset radio
station
— Manual Tuning

Tips
• For preset tuning, you can use numeric button to
select a preset station. Press >10, then press numeric
button to enter the preset number over 10.
• To improve broadcast reception, adjust the supplied
antennas or connect a commercially available
external antenna.
• When an FM stereo program has static noise, press
FM MODE repeatedly until “MONO” lights up in
the display. There will be no stereo effect, but the
reception will improve.

programs” (page 59).
