late at night.

Set priority to the data you want to playback,
when you playback the disc contains MP3 audio
tracks and JPEG image files.

Change the date display format of a JPEG image
file in the Control Menu.

Changing the angles
(DVD only)
When playing a DVD on which various angles
(multi-angles) for a scene are recorded, the
“ANGLE” icon indicator lights in green on the
on-screen display. This means that you can
change the viewing angle. For example, while
playing a scene of a train in motion, you can
display the view from either the front of the
train, the left window of the train or the right
window of the train without having the train’s
movement interrupted.

Press DVD DISPLAY during playback.
The Control Menu appears on the on-screen
display.

Press M or m repeatedly to select the
“ANGLE”.
The angle number appears. The number in
parentheses indicates the total number of
angles. The “ANGLE” icon indicator lights
up in green when multi-angles are recorded
on the disc.

Press ENTER.
The angle number changes to “–”.

Press the numeric buttons or M and m ,
to select the angle you want, then
press ENTER.
The angle is changed to the selected angle.
OFF No compression of
DYNAMIC range
STANDARD Reproduces the sound track
with the kind of DYNAMIC
range that the recording
engineer intended.
MAX Narrows the DYNAMIC
range fully
MP3 If an MP3 audio track exists on the
disc, the system recognizes the disc as
a “disc with MP3 audio tracks”. If
only JPEG image files exist on the
disc, the system recognizes the disc as
a “ disc with JPEG image files”.
JPEG If a JPEG image file exists on the disc,
the system recognises the disc as a
“disc with JPEG image files”. If only
MP3 audio tracks exist on the disc, the
system recognises the disc as a “disc
with MP3 audio tracks”.
