— Power Saving Mode
The demonstration display and the clock
display can be turned off to minimize the
amount of power consumed during
standby mode (Power Saving Mode).
Press DISPLAY repeatedly while
the system is turned off.

Note
You cannot perform the following operations
during Power Saving Mode:
– Setting the clock (page 23).
– Changing the AM tuning interval (page 54).
– Turning on the system by pressing DVD,
TUNER/BAND, TAPE A, TAPE B,
TV/SAT or VIDEO on the unit.
– Changing the color system (page 20).
— BUILT-IN BEAM
Use the buttons on the unit for the
operation.

Press BEAM MODE repeatedly
to select the FRONT BEAM or
BOTTOM BEAM.
The FRONT BEAM is located at the
front side of the unit and reacts
according to the high frequency of the
music.
The BOTTOM BEAM is located at the
bottom side of the unit and reacts
according to the low frequency of the
music.

Turn OPERATION DIAL to select
the setting you want.

Press ENTER.

Tip
You can also press FRONT or BOTTOM
BUILT-IN BEAM repeatedly on the
X-TRANCE PRO remote to select the setting
you want.
