SECTION 3 - REPAIR INFORMATION
REPAIRING THE TV
If the latest Software does not correct the issue, complete the following:
1.
Verify the television has the symptom the customer indicated.
2.
Replace part causing the symptom.
3.
Install the latest version of Software (Required for ALL repairs).
4.
Perform the required service adjustments and checks.
5. Verify the repair resolved the issue.
REMOVING THE REAR COVER
1.
Place TV on a flat and steady surface in a standing position.
2.
Place TV face down on a soft and flat surface to remove all screws and
detach the left and right Stand.
3.
Remove 1 screw from AC Cover and disconnect the AC Power Cord.
HOLD
4.
Locate and remove all screws from the Rear Cover.
CAUTION: To avoid any damage and/or deformation to the Rear Cover,
please refer to the following illustration.
Handling Area
(Firm, curled edges).
When handling the Rear Cover,
hold edges as shown:
OK to grab area
(Firm, sharp edges).
Grab with Caution
(Sharp edges, easy to deform).
Avoid area
(Sharp edges, easy to deform
or damage the Rear Cover).

5. Grasp the Rear Cover as shown in the illustration to separate from panel.
6. Firmly lift the Rear Cover on the shown areas to detach.
