Clock/Timers
“Sleep Timer”
Set the time in minutes (“Off”, “15”, “30”, “45”, “60”, “90”, or “120”) that you
would like the TV to remain on before shutting off automatically.
“On Timer”
Turns on the TV from standby mode at a time you set, and tuned to a channel
or input of your preference or photo frame mode. Before setting this function,
make sure you set the correct current Time.
“Clock Set”
Australian model and New Zealand model:
The current time is set
automatically if the TV receives the time from a digital broadcast signal. If the
current time fails to be received from a digital broadcast signal, you cannot set
the current time manually. Select “Date” to set the date, then select “Time” to
set the time.
Except Australian and New Zealand model:
When this is set to “Auto”, the
current time is set automatically if the TV receives the time from a digital
broadcast signal. If the current time fails to be received from a digital
broadcast signal, select to “Manual”, then select “Date” to set the date, then
select “Time” to set the time. You can set to “Time Offset” only when “Clock Set”
is set to “Auto”.
• If the time information can be obtained by broadcast signal, you cannot change
the time manually.
Auto Start-up
Starts the initial set-up procedure (page 8). This option allows you to retune the
TV after moving house, or to search for new channels that have been launched
by broadcasters.
Language
Selects the language in which the menus are displayed.
Start-up Logo
Select “On” to display the logo when the TV is turned on.
Select “Off” to disable it.
AV Set-up
“Video Labels”
Assigns name to external equipment. Select “Auto” to display names only when
the equipment is connected, or “Always” to display regardless of connection
status.
“Video/Component Input”
Select “Auto” to have the TV detect and switch between the component video
jack
or the video jack
when component video jack
or video jack
is connected.
• You cannot use the component video jack
and the video jack
at the
same time.
“Headphone/Audio Out”
Sets the sound output to headphones or external audio system connected to
the TV.
Disconnect headphones from the TV when you select “Audio Out”.
