Operations – Using Operator Tool

This chapter describes how to operate the Wide area 
Object Detection system using Operator Tool.
To start Operator Tool, double-click the 

WODs

 icon on 

the desktop.

Configuration of 
Windows

Main Window

Starting Operator Tool opens the main window.
The main window switches from the 

Live

 tab to the 

Play 

Back

 tab, or vice versa. By switching the tab, the main 

window shows the images being shot by the cameras or 
the playback images shot by the cameras.
The images are shown in the main window as follows;

Image of panorama camera

Shows a live image of the panorama camera in the Live 
mode, and a playback image shot by the panorama 
camera in the playback mode.

Image of zoom camera

Shows a zoomed-up image of the moving object 
detected by the panorama camera in the Live mode, and 
a zoomed-up image of the moving object being played 
back in the playback mode.

Data list

Shows the currently selected shooting parameter name 
in the Live mode, and in the playback mode the shooting 
parameter name used for recording.
Also shows the start and end times of 

Moving object 

count

, if it is displayed.

Image of fixed camera 1 (or 2)

Shows a live image of the fixed camera, if connected, in 
the Live mode, and a playback image shot by the fixed 
camera in the playback mode. The application can 
control one or two fixed cameras.

Buttons on the Live tab

The buttons on the Live tab control live images.
This section describes the functions of the buttons on the 
Live tab.

Play Back button

Click to switch to the Play Back tab and display the 
recording/moving object history window.

 (scheduled recording) button

Click to enter scheduled recording mode. Camera 
shooting and recording are performed according to 
the preset schedule.

Note

In the schedule recording mode, the 

 (live 

shooting) button, 

 (record) button and 

 (stop) buttons are disabled.

 (live shooting) button

Click to enter live shooting mode.  (Recording does 
not start.)
