Using the Annotation Function
During communication you can transmit or receive letters and graphics written
on the screen with a pen tablet as they are written. You can also point the
camera picture or computer picture with a pointer. This function is called
“Annotation”.
The annotation function supports the CTL-480/S0 Intuos pen small and CTH-
480/S0 Intuos pen & touch small from Wacom Co., Ltd.

For details on the CTL-480/S0 Intuos pen small and the CTH-480/S0 Intuos
pen & touch small, consult with a Sony dealer.
• The communication using a pen tablet is only available for communication between
the PCS-XG80/XG80S/XG55/XG55S/XA80/XA55/XL55/G60/G60D/G60DP/
XG100/XG77/XG100S/XG77S/XC1 Communication Systems. A pen tablet cannot
be used for communication with other Sony communication systems.
• Graphics written using the annotation function will not appear in recorded or
streamed video.
• Do not connect small USB devices to the USB port on the front of the unit, as they
may become impossible to remove. Connect small devices to the USB port on the rear
of the unit.

Turn off the unit.

Connect the pen tablet to the USB port on the front panel of the unit.

Press the

(power) switch on the unit to turn it on.
