The IFB-X2000E interface board is designed to be mounted on Sony VPL-
X2000E LCD data projectors so that composite video or S video (Y/C)
signals and audio signals from video equipment can be input/output.
Mounting the IFB-X2000E
A
Before installing the board, be sure to turn off the power of the projector and
disconnect the projector power cable from the wall outlet.
1 Pull out the AUDIO OUT plate on the rear of the projector by
loosening the four screws with a screwdriver.
2 Disconnect the 12-pin and 4-pin cable connectors from the AUDIO
OUT plate to remove the plate.
3 Insert the two connectors into the connector plugs on the interface
board.
4 Insert the interface board into the rear panel of the projector.
Caution
Make sure that the wire is not caught between the opening of the
projector and the board.
5 Tighten the four screws on the interface board.

VIDEO connectors
Y IN/C IN (BNC-type): Connect to the Y and C video outputs of the
video equipment.
S VIDEO IN (mini DIN 4-pin): Connects to the Y/C video output of the
video equipment.
S VIDEO OUT (mini DIN 4-pin): Used as loop-through output via the Y/
C IN connectors or the S VIDEO IN connector.
VIDEO IN (BNC type): Connects to the composite video output
connector of the video equipment.
VIDEO OUT (BNC type): Used as loop-through output of the VIDEO IN
connector.
AUDIO IN L (MONO)/R jacks (phono type): Connect to the audio
output jacks of equipment, such as a VCR, etc. For stereo equipment,
use both the L and R jacks; for monaural equipment, use the L
(MONO) jack only.
Note
If you have video equipment connected to both the Y/C IN and S VIDEO
IN connectors, the signal from the Y/C IN connectors are selected prior
to the S VIDEO IN connector. When projecting video connected to the S
VIDEO IN connector, be sure not to connect any cable to the Y/C IN
connectors.

AUDIO OUT L/R jacks (phono type)
Connect to external active speakers. The volume of the speakers can be
controlled by the VOLUME keys of the projector.

La carte d'interface IFB-X2000E est destinée à être installée sur un
projecteur de données LCD Sony VPL-X2000E pour l'entrée/sortie de
signaux composites vidéo ou S-VIDEO (Y/C) et de signaux audio d'un
appareil vidéo.
Montage de l'IFB-X2000E

Avant d'installer la carte, veillez à mettre le projecteur hors tension et à
débrancher le cordon d'alimentation du projecteur de la prise murale
(secteur).
1 Retirez la plaque AUDIO OUT à l'arrière du projecteur en desserrant
les quatre vis à l'aide d'un tournevis.
2 Déconnectez les connecteurs de câble à 12 et 4 broches de la
plaque AUDIO OUT pour pouvoir enlever la plaque.
3 Branchez les deux connecteurs dans les prises de connexion de la
carte d'interface.
4 Introduisez la carte d'interface dans le panneau arrière du
projecteur.
Attention
Veillez à ne pas coincer le fil entre l'ouverture du projecteur et la carte.
5 Resserrez les quatre vis de la carte d'interface.

Connecteurs VIDEO
Y IN/C IN (type BNC): Permet de raccorder les sorties vidéo Y et C de
l’appareil vidéo.
S VIDEO IN (mini DIN à 4 broches): Permet de raccorder la sortie vidéo
Y/C de l’appareil vidéo.
S VIDEO OUT (mini DIN à 4 broches): Utilisée comme sortie en boucle
directe via les connecteurs Y/C IN ou le connecteur S VIDEO IN.
VIDEO IN (type BNC): Se branche au connecteur de sortie vidéo
composite de l’appareil vidéo.
VIDEO OUT (type BNC): Utilisé comme sortie en boucle directe du
connecteur VIDEO IN.
Prises AUDIO IN L (MONO)/R (type phono): Branchez-les aux prises
de sortie audio de l’appareil. Dans le cas d’un appareil stéréo, utilisez
à la fois les prises L et R; dans le cas d’un appareil monaural, utilisez
uniquement la prise L (MONO).
Remarque
Si un appareil vidéo est raccordé aux connecteurs Y/C IN et S VIDEO
IN, le signal provenant des connecteurs Y/C IN est sélectionné avant
celui du connecteur S VIDEO IN. Lorsque vous visionnez une vidéo
raccordée au connecteur S VIDEO IN, veillez à ne brancher aucun câble
aux connecteurs Y/C IN.

Le volume des haut-parleurs se commande au départ des touches
VOLUME de la télécommande ou du panneau de commande.
