Live Transmission 
(Streaming)

Streaming Preparation

Be sure to configure the network and streaming settings 
before you begin live transmissions. The network settings 
should be configured by the system administrator.

For details, see “Network Settings” (page 99).

• The Sony Network Recorder and Network Recorder 

Software are required for streaming transmissions.

• Streaming transmissions are disabled when the 

recording mode settings are set to HD 1080p format.

• Streaming transmissions are disabled when you are 

using the HVO-3000MT in 3D mode.

Transmitting Live Images

Live image transmissions from endoscopic devices and 
cameras in the operating room can be streamed in real time 
to doctors’ offices, ICUs, and amphitheaters by using the 
streaming function.
