Step 7: Inserting a tape or a “Memory Stick Duo”
The camcorder can use standard-size and
mini-size DVCAM/DV cassettes. For
details about usable cassette, see “Types of
cassette you can use in your camcorder” on
page 2.

Set the POWER switch to ON.

While sliding the open lever in the
direction of the arrow, open the
cassette lid.

Insert the cassette with the
cassette window (on the front)
facing outward and the REC/
SAVE switch facing upward.
Check for tape slack before inserting the
cassette.
To insert a mini-size cassette
Insert the cassette with the cassette window
(on the front) facing outward. Push the
cassette between the both guides.
