Transferring audio data to a “WALKMAN”

Prepare the unit for data transfer.
Do one of the following.
Connect a “WALKMAN” equipped with a WM-PORT to the WM-PORT on top of the unit.
Connect a “WALKMAN” to the USB port on the top or rear of the unit.
Refer to the operating manual of the “WALKMAN” as well.

Select the HDD JUKEBOX function.

repeatedly to select “Mode” directory, and then press

display the albums, playlists, groups, or tracks that you want to transfer.

Press TRANSFER on the main unit.
When devices are connected to the WM-PORT and both USB ports (top and rear) at the same time,
the order of priority of the various devices is WM-PORT, the top USB port, and then the rear USB
port. For this reason, the unit will recognize only one device. If you are unable to see the desired
destination device, disconnect the devices one at a time, from the highest to the lowest priority.
Tip
When you press TRANSFER in this step, the selected destination device setting is stored in the unit and is recalled
each time you use the device in the future.

to select the albums, playlists, groups, or tracks that you want to
transfer, and then press ENTER to put a check on.
