Turning the main power of the unit on
Set the
?/a
main power switch to the on (

) side.
Note
The unit is not turned on even if the
?/a
main power
switch of the unit is turned on.
Turning the unit on
Use the
1
ON/STANDBY switch located on the front of
the unit to turn the unit on or off during daily use.

Press the
1
ON/STANDBY switch to set the unit to
on.
The
1
ON/STANDBY indicator lights in green and
the message below should appear on the LCD.
After a few minutes, the following message should
appear.
When you use the unit for the first time
The above message should appear when you use the
unit for the first time, because the film sheets are
not loaded in the film trays of the unit.
For detailed information on how to load the film
sheet, see “Loading Film Sheets” on page 19.
When you already use the unit
When the above message appears, the unit is ready
to print.
Note
If the
?/a
main power switch located on the rear
panel is not set to on, the power is not on even
though the
1
ON/STANDBY switch located on the
front panel is set to on.
To turn the unit off during daily use
1
Press the

ON/STANDBY switch to turn the unit
off.
The
1
ON/STANDBY switch blinks and goes off.
The message “POWER OFF PLEASE WAIT”
appears on the LCD, and then the message
disappears.
The printer is turned off.
When you do not intend to use the printer for a
long time
Turn the printer off as follows.
