Zoom
You can shoot zoomed-in images.

Smart zoom only:
The product magnifies the image without causing the original quality to deteriorate by partially cropping the image. You
can use the Smart Zoom function if you set [
JPEG Image Size] to [M], [S] or [VGA].
ClearImage Zoom:
Select this setting to apply the Clear Image Zoom function. Even if the zoom range of the smart zoom is exceeded, the
product magnifies images within the range in which image quality does not deteriorate significantly.
Digital Zoom:
When the zoom range of the [ClearImage Zoom] is exceeded, the product magnifies images to the largest scale.
However, the image quality will deteriorate.
The zoom features available with this product
The zoom feature of the product provides a higher magnification zoom by combining various zoom features. The icon
displayed on the screen changes, according to the selected zoom feature.
MENU → (Camera Settings2) → [Zoom Setting] → desired setting.

MENU → (Camera Settings2) → [Zoom].
If you have assigned the [Zoom] function to a key using [ Custom Key] or [ Custom Key], you can
display the zooming operation screen by pressing the assigned key.

Press the right/left button or the up/down button to select the desired zoom magnification, and then press
the
(Enter) button.
The zoom magnification changes smoothly when you press the right/left button, and jumps at a fixed angle of
view when you press the up/down button.
To cancel the zoom function, press the MENU button.
