The following discs are compatible with the drive.

Writing speed supported by the drive. Depending on your software and media, this speed
may vary.
For more details on writing speed by disc type, access the user support Web site (see
page 30).

This drive is compatible with the DVD-RW disc displaying “
” mark.

This drive can read DVD-RAM discs displaying the “
”mark. However, the write
operation is not supported.
4)
Use a non-cartridge-type disc or a cartridge from which the disc can be ejected.
