Enjoying the Radio
Connect the FM/AM aerials to the subwoofer
(page 17) and preset radio stations.
Note
You cannot record FM/AM radio sound using the
recorder or connected equipment.
Presetting radio stations
You can preset 20 FM stations, and 10 AM
stations. Before tuning, make sure to turn down
the volume to minimum.

to turn on the speaker
system.

Set the AMP/DVD switch to AMP.

Press FM/AM repeatedly to select FM or
AM.

Press and hold /– until auto
scanning starts.
Scanning stops when the system tunes in a
station. The “TUNED” indicator (along with
the “ST” indicator for stereo programmes)
lights up in the centre unit display.

Press FM/AM MEMORY.
A preset number appears.

to select the preset number you
want.

Press ENTER.
The station is stored.

Repeat steps 3 to 7 to store other stations.
To change the preset number
Repeat the above steps and select a different preset
number in step 6.
Listening to the radio

Press AMP

to turn on the speaker
system.

Press FM/AM repeatedly to select FM or
AM.
The last received station is tuned in.

Press FM/AM /– to select the
preset station you want.

volume.
To turn off the radio
Press AMP

to turn off the speaker system.
To listen to non-preset radio stations
Use manual or automatic tuning in step 3 above.
