Figure SCU (Sensor Control Unit)-74 External Data Capture
At the External Data Capture processing, the data from each sensor connected to each physical interface is
readout, and the data is written to the FIFO via the MATH_PROC processing, or directly from the sensor to the
FIFO.
Regardless of writing the data via the MATH_PROC or directly from the sensor to the FIFO, the data type must
be one of the following “Calculation Operable Sample Types” or “Calculation Inoperable Sample Types”. Other
data types cannot be handled.
Also, when the data is written via the MATH_PROC processing, the data type of the sensor readout data (the data
handed to the MATH_PROC) must be the Calculation Operable Sample Type.
Calculation Operable Sample Types
・
16-bit 1 axis: 1 Sample = {x} format
(2 Byte/Sample)
・
16-bit 2 axis: 1 Sample = {x,y} format
(4 Byte/Sample)
・
16-bit 3 axis: 1 Sample = {x,y,z} format (6 Byte/Sample)
Calculation Inoperable Sample Types
・
24-bit: 1 Sample format
(3 Byte/Sample)
・
32-bit: 1 Sample format
(4 Byte/Sample)
・
48-bit: 1Ssample format
(6 Byte/Sample)
・
64-bit: 1 Sample format
(8 Byte/Sample)
・
96-bit: 1 Sample format
(12 Byte/Sample)
・
128-bit: 1 Sample format
(16 Byte/Sample)
From the SPI/I2C sensors, up to 16 Bytes of data can be readout in one process.
Data readout from the LPADC is treated as MSB-aligned 16 bit data.
For the data readout from the HPADC, vector mode or non-vector mode can be selected. When vector mode is
