Chapter 4 Commands
SERIAL DISP
This command is used to display serial numbers of library and drives.
Press the “Enter” button when the command menu is displayed, and the LCD
panel display changes as follows. The library is now in Command execution
mode.
Display
Lower line: Shows the serial number of device that is presently selected.
The information is displayed in the following order: Library
→
Drive 1
→
Drive 2
Button Operations
“Up” button:
Displays the serial number of the next device.
“Down” button:
Displays the serial number of the previous device.
“Enter” button:
No associated function.
“Cancel” button:
Returns to the command menu.
BARCODE DISP
This command is used to display the bar code information of media in each slot
or drive.
Press the “Enter” button when the command menu is displayed, and the LCD
panel display changes as follows. The library is now in Command execution
mode.
Display
Upper line: Shows the number of slot or drive that is presently selected.
Lower line: Displays the bar code information of media in a slot or drive that
is presently selected.
The information is displayed in the following order: SLOT 1,
SLOT 2 … SLOT20, DRIVE 1, DRIVE 2, MAILSLOT, SLOT 1.

NO MEDIUM:
No media is inserted in a slot.
NO MAGAZINE:
There is no slot (A magazine is
being removed).
Blank (No display is shown): A medium is in a slot but does not
have the bar code information (No
bar code label is affixed).
Button Operations
“Up” button:
Displays the bar code information of the next slot.
“Down” button:
Displays the bar code information of the previous slot.
“Enter” button:
No associated function.
“Cancel” button:
Returns to the command menu.
