Setting the Menu Options
The player has 8 menu options as follows:

Key Protect
You can make the controls on the player ineffective
except for the EJECT, STOP, ENTER and CLEAR
buttons.

Remote Protect
You can make the supplied remote commander
ineffective.

Auto Cue threshold level
You can change the cue point level of the Auto Cue
function (see page 14).

Cueing Select
You can select what you want to locate (track or
index) by using the

buttons.
5–8 RS-232 baudrate/data/stop/parity
When you connect your personal computer or
work station to the RS-232C connector (see page 6),
you can set each option.
The following menu choices are available for each
option. The initial settings are indicated with
underline:
* If you press a button on the player after setting the option
to LOCAL OFF, “PROTECTED” appears in the display.

To initialize all the settings
Press CLEAR while setting menus.
