• Energy efficiency reduces power consumption and thus saves money by reducing electricity bills.
• When not in use
– If you will not be using the TV set for several days, the TV set should be disconnected from the mains for
environmental and safety reasons.
– As the TV set is not disconnected from the mains when the TV set is just turned off, pull the plug from the
mains to disconnect the TV set completely.
– However, some TV sets may have features that require the TV set to be left in standby to work correctly.
“Device Control Keys”:
Select button functions of the TV’s remote control
to operate the connected equipment.

“None”:
Deactivates the control by the TV’s remote.
•
“Normal”:
For basic operations, such as navigation buttons (up, down,
left or right, etc).

“Tuning Keys”:
For basic operations and operation of channel-related
buttons, such as
PROG +/–

, etc. Useful when you control a tuner
or set-top box, etc; via the remote control.

“Menu Keys”:

Network Set-up
Sets the network status settings. For setup of the network, see “Network
Setup” (page 40).
USB System
Update
Updates the TV system using USB memory.
Automatic
Software
Download
Select “On” to download the software automatically. Select “Off” to disable
it.
Product Support
Displays your TV’s product information.
Factory Settings
Resets all settings to factory settings. After completing this process, the
initial set-up screen is displayed.
Reset
Resets all the “Eco” settings to the factory settings.
Power Saving
Selects the power saving mode to reduce the power consumption of the TV.
“Standard”:
Default settings.
“Reduce”:
Reduces the power consumption of the TV.
“Picture Off”:
Switches off the picture. You can listen to the sound with the
picture off.
Idle TV Standby
Selects the time (“1 h”, “2 h” or “4 h”) to set the TV into standby mode
automatically, if you do not operate the TV for the specified period of time.
