Disassembling the front speakers (BDV-E780W only)
Before installing the front speakers to a wall, remove the stand.
1 Unscrew the screw, and then detach the stand.
2 Hold down the lever with your finger and remove the speaker
cord. Repeat this for the other speaker cord.
3 Pull out the speaker cords from the stand.
Note
Retain the removed stand for future use.
Installing on a wall
Caution
Contact a screw shop or installer regarding the wall material or screws to be used.
Use screws that are suitable for the wall material and strength. As a plaster board wall is
especially fragile, attach the screws securely to a beam and fasten them to the wall. Install
the speakers on a vertical and flat wall where reinforcement is applied.
Sony is not responsible for accidents or damage caused by improper installation,
insufficient wall strength or improper screw installation, natural calamity, etc.
1 Connect the speaker cord to the speaker.
Be sure to match the speaker cords to the appropriate terminals on the
speakers: the speaker cord with the color tube to
, and the speaker cord
without the color tube to
.
Tube colors:
Front left speaker (L): White
Front right speaker (R): Red
Center speaker: Green
Surround left speaker (L): Blue
Surround right speaker (R): Gray
2 Prepare screws (not supplied) that are suitable for the hole on the
back of each speaker.
3 Fasten the screws to the wall.
Leave a space of about 8 mm to 10 mm between the wall and the head of the
screw.
For the center speaker, measure the distance between the screws before
fastening the screws to the wall.
4 Hang the speaker on the screw(s).

Démontage des enceintes avant (BDV-E780W uniquement)
Avant d’installer les enceintes avant au mur, retirez le support.
1 Desserrez la vis, puis détachez le support.
2 Maintenez le levier abaissé avec le doigt et retirez le cordon
d’enceinte. Répétez cette étape pour l’autre cordon d’enceinte.
3 Retirez les cordons d’enceinte du support.
Remarque
Conservez le support retiré en vue d’une utilisation ultérieure.
Installation au mur
Avertissement
Adressez-vous à un quincaillier ou à un installateur pour connaître le matériau du mur
ou les vis à utiliser.
Utilisez des vis adaptées au matériau et à la résistance du mur. Comme les plaques de
plâtre sont particulièrement fragiles, fixez fermement les vis à une poutre et fixez-les au
mur. Installez les enceintes sur une paroi verticale et plane à un endroit où se trouve un
renforcement.
Sony ne peut être tenu responsable de tout accident ou dégât entraîné par une installation
incorrecte, une résistance insuffisante du mur, une mauvaise fixation des vis, une
catastrophe naturelle, etc.
1 Raccordez le cordon d’enceinte à l’enceinte.

2 Préparez des vis (non fournies) adaptées à l’orifice situé au dos de
chaque enceinte.
3 Fixez les vis au mur.
Laissez un espace de 8 mm à 10 mm environ entre le mur et la tête de la vis.
Pour l’enceinte centrale, mesurez la distance entre les vis avant de fixer les vis
au mur.
4 Suspendez l’enceinte à la/aux vis.

Desmontaje de los altavoces frontales (solamente para el modelo
BDV-E780W)
Antes de instalar los altavoces frontales en una pared, retire el soporte.
1 Desatornille el tornillo y, a continuación, desacople el soporte.
2 Mantenga presionada la palanca hacia abajo con el dedo y
extraiga el cable de altavoz. Repita este procedimiento para el
otro cable de altavoz.

Instalación en una pared

2 Prepare unos tornillos (no suministrados) que sean adecuados

Auseinandernehmen der vorderen Lautsprecher (nur BDV-E780W)
Bevor Sie die vorderen Lautsprecher an der Wand montieren, müssen Sie den
Ständer abnehmen.
1 Lösen Sie die Schraube und nehmen Sie dann den Ständer ab.
2 Halten Sie den Hebel mit dem Finger nach unten gedrückt und
lösen Sie das Lautsprecherkabel. Gehen Sie beim anderen
Lautsprecherkabel genauso vor.
3 Ziehen Sie die Lautsprecherkabel aus dem Ständer heraus.
Hinweis
Bewahren Sie den abgenommenen Ständer zur späteren Verwendung auf.
Wandmontage
Vorsicht
Wenden Sie sich bei Fragen bezüglich des Wandmaterials oder geeigneter Schrauben an
einen Fachmann.
Verwenden Sie Schrauben, die für das Material der Wand und die Wandstärke geeignet
sind. Wände aus Gipskarton sind nicht sehr stabil. Drehen Sie die Schrauben zur
Befestigung in einen Holzträger. Montieren Sie die Lautsprecher an einer senkrechten
und ebenen Wand, die ausreichend verstärkt ist.
Sony haftet nicht für Unfälle oder Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Montage,
unzureichende Wandstärke, schlechte Schraubenverankerung, Naturkatastrophen usw.
entstehen.
1 Schließen Sie das Lautsprecherkabel an den Lautsprecher an.

2 Beschaffen Sie Schrauben (nicht mitgeliefert), die sich für die
Bohrung an der Rückseite der einzelnen Lautsprecher eignen.
3 Drehen Sie die Schrauben in die Wand.
Lassen Sie zwischen der Wand und dem Schraubenkopf etwa 8 mm bis 10 mm Platz.
Beim mittleren Lautsprecher messen Sie den Abstand zwischen den
Schrauben, bevor Sie die Schrauben in die Wand drehen.
4 Hängen Sie den Lautsprecher an die Schraube(n).
