Full HD 1080p video output2 provides high-resolution HD images so you can take full advantage of 

your HDTV and the detail of Blu-ray Disc™  video content. BD/DVD/CD and AVCHD compatibility lets you play your favorite Blu-ray 
Disc™  movies, DVDs, audio CDs, and AVCHD-format discs.

DVD Upscaling via HDMI™

 

DVD upscaling via HDMI™  makes your existing standard DVDs look better on your HDTV by 

upscaling them to near HD quality.

Built-in wireless functionality (802.11N/G/B/A)

 

Allows you to easily connect to the internet to download and stream BD-Live™

content such as additional scenes, shorts, trailers, movie-based games, and more. While compatible with most home wireless routers, 

the BDP-S560 Blu-ray Disc player also supports Wi-Fi protected set-up (WPS) for a quick and easy conection to WPS enabled wireless 
routers.

Photo streaming functionality

 

Allows you to wirelessly stream digital photos from your PC or other Digital Living Network 

Alliance (DLNA) enabled device to your Blu-ray Disc Player, allowing you to easily view photos on your HDTV.

Digital photo playback

 

The digital photo playback feature lets you enjoy your digital photos on your HDTV by inserting USB flash 

memory loaded with photos into the players' front USB port.

Dolby® TrueHD and dts-HD internal decoding and bitstream output via HDMI™ .

 

The BDP-S560 Blu-ray Disc™  player 

supports both internal decoding and bitstream output of enhanced audio codecs, including Dolby® TrueHDand dts®-HD Master 
Audio. These high definition audio formats deliver “lossless” surround sound with up to 7.1 channels of discrete audio that is nearly 
identical to the master studio recording, allowing you to enjoy uncompromised sound from the comfort of your living room.

Brings you the next generation of interactivity, allowing you to download and stream bonus content such as 

additional scenes, shorts, trailers, movie-based games, and more. (Media, USB Flash Memory and internet connection is required).
