Listening to the Radio
Preset radio stations in the receiver’s memory
first (see “Presetting Radio Stations” on
page 69).

Press FUNCTION and select “TUNER”
using Cursor key, and then push
Cursor key.

Press BAND repeatedly until FM or AM
appears in the front panel display.
The last received station is tuned in.

Press or – repeatedly to
select the preset station you want.
Each time you press the button, the receiver
tunes in one preset station.
Every time you press BAND, the band
toggles between AM or FM.

Adjust the volume by pressing
/–.
To turn off the radio
Press

on the remote or POWER on the
receiver.
To listen to non-preset radio
stations
Use manual or automatic tuning in Step 2.
For manual tuning, press or – on the
remote repeatedly.
For automatic tuning, press and hold
or – on the remote.
Tips
• If an FM program is noisy, press STEREO/MONO
on the remote so that “MONO” appears in the front
panel display. There will be no stereo effect, but the
reception will improve. Press the button again to
restore the stereo effect.
• To improve reception, reorient the supplied antennas.
To check the frequency
Press DISPLAY/JUMP repeatedly.
Each time you press DISPLAY/JUMP, the front
panel display changes as follows:
